Gaming DSiWare recommendations

Try launching it in Unlaunch. I had a few issues with that, but after launching it through Unlaunch once, it seemed to fix itself.

Small tip: A repository can be found on that 3DS site. I have a repository with some more applications, but it’s really just system applications.

Anyway, I highly recommend Paper Plane,
Mario vs Donkey Kong Mini’s March Again (kinda hard but you’ll get through it),
Birds and Bombs (aka Spotto!),
Pyoro,
Photo Dojo,
Shantae Risky’s Revenge,
the Game & Watch DSiWare series,
Art Style Code (haven’t played the rest of the AS series but I believe all of them are hardcore puzzle games)
Metal Torrent,
UNO,
and last but not least, Zelda Four Swords 25th Anniversary Edition.

These are the game names in Europe though, you may need to do some digging.
