It isn't quite that special. Given the proper calm and comfort of my room with about any of my consoles or handheld, I could probably easily hit the 15 hours straight, and that is, with no toilet break. My body has adapted itself to extremely long periods of gaming, so it's not that special to me. However, if I was given the chance, maybe I'd try beating that record. Maybe not for the record itself, but the fun.

I've been on a few pretty serious gaming sessions myself. On a dare I went all they way through FF7 in one run in an attempt to beat the world record. As I recall I wasn't far off. Don't think I've ever hit the 50 hour mark though.

They must be very easily entertained, I can't play red dead redemption for an hour without getting bored. I've definitely played for more than 10 hours straight several, several times. When I got twilight princess I played it for like 18 hours.

I'm pretty sure there's some Korean out there, who played himself to death for something like 70+ hours straight, but I'm not sure.
Yeah, I did hear that a Korean person did die after playing for to long, but I'm not sure how long he played for.

The reason toilets never fill up, is because gravity does the draining. :0

The most on a console I have ever done was a 10 hour CoD montage.

The DS I have played 3 battery cycles in one sitting. (It discharged, and I plugged it up, after it charged when I was playing on it, I played until it went dead again.

For hour of gameplay you do, a brain cell dies.
That's not bad, considering the average human brain contains another 100 billion others.

Clearly you've never been to Coventry. A ten minute walk around our city centre would totally destroy your faith in that statement.
