Dear all
After I have updated my system to Atmosphère 1.4.0 to support 15.0.0 OFW, I have noticed that when I enable the cheats overlay, ALL the cheats are ON by default. I have manged to fix that by:

Preventing cheats from being active
To prevent cheats from being enabled by default, you can change your atmosphere configuration:

  • Copy system_settings.ini from /atmosphere/config_templates to /atmosphere/config if it is not already there.
  • Edit the line ; dmnt_cheats_enabled_by_default = u8!0x1 to dmnt_cheats_enabled_by_default = u8!0x0. Make sure to remove the space and the semicolon " ;"
By default, holding the L button while launching a game will disable any cheat.

Now the weird thing that happens is this:

In some games (Super Mario 3D World, and Super Mario Bros. U DELUXE) even thgough I have disabled all the cheats, the character has 'some' cheats attributed to it, for example it MOON jumps, or has other cheat effects applied to it, even though the cheats are all off in the Tesla Overlay.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

No, I just found out about this feature! I am going to that. But everything I did seem normal to you, in other words, that's the way I should have done it, right?
Thanks!

another way for the cheat to be always on is the cheat name uses { } instead of [ ]
or your ini file is in the wrong path
try this
"open the /atmosphere/system_settings.ini file and change dmnt_cheats_enabled_by_default = u8!0x1 to dmnt_cheats_enabled_by_default = u8!0x0"

@Xdqwerty there is health behaviour you can add to your character, then to use a health bar is lil more complicated, google n watch a few tutorial video on it, be too hard to explain here.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, the character has the health behavior
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I know you have to create a health and health max variable. Then there is a calculation you use in code to subtract width size of the health bar. Google few vids.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, the "greenflatbar" is one of the preset health bars btw
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea you can use any bar/sprite. It will just change the width. Ok good luck and have fun. I'm off to go shoot some pool at the bar. Talk to you later.
    +1
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, why does the health behavior exist if you can just use a variable?
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
and nope the number still doesnt change
