As many people, I have faced the 1-bit mode message because of a damaged connector on my switch motherboard. I sadly don't have the competences to fix it so I was wondering if making a USB Emunand would be possible and how hard would it be to implement it.

I actually asked m4xw this when emuMMC was still being developed and he said its impossible.
Neither.
The USB title isn't even started that early into the boot process, so it would need a low level implementation and killing the usb services.

Better late then never... Its not impossible. Just not worth the effort and side effects. You can just force load usb and disable it on a system level
