Could have stated you were being sarcastic

However they are "Essential" to prevent unneeded "omfg recommendz meh sum *enter random thing here*" threads, they still happen from time to time but those who search will find for the most part everything they could ever need. With out them I think we would have many more of those type of threads. So IMHO they do more good than harm.
