EZFlash Omega Definitive Edition gets open source release
EZFlash dropped by to announce that their new GBA flash cart, the EZFlash Omega Definitive edition, has joined many of its older counterparts in seeing the source code released.
The original Omega saw source code released, and with that the community was able to make various changes and tweaks to the loader to support new things, streamline it to their liking and more besides. Most would probably start with Sterophonick's Clean theme for an example of what might eventually be accomplished here.
The code necessary to add rumble to homebrew and commercial games for the Omega Definitive edition was already released, and we have seen a first bit of homebrew support it in the form of GValiente's enjoyable little shooter Butano Fighter.
EZFlash Github entry. Code is released under the Apache License 2.0.
GBAtemp's first impressions of the Omega Definitive Edition, review is still to come but said initial impressions are that is is a very nice flash cart.
