Hardware Fair Price for a New or Used "New!" 3DSXL?

I'm late to the 3DS party, but thought about dipping my toes into it. I'd like to get a good idea of what to expect, since I haven't been keeping up with the product at all since its inception.

What sort of answer are you expecting? Check Amazon, or completed listings on eBay, or your local vendors. Or consider getting a refurbished unit from Nintendo directly.

The New 2DS XL is probably going to be the cheapest option for new units, but by all accounts they have considerably lower build quality compared to the New 3DS XL. Whether that is worth the savings is entirely up to you.

If you are concerned about CFW, then every unit is pretty much just as easy to hack as any other unit.

Check my signature. Buy a Nintendo official refurbished n3DSXL. Give them a call to see when they'll start selling hard goods again.

Well I'm in the UK, but used prices for a plain color like blue metallic, black metallic, red metallic run anywhere from around £60 ($70) up to like £200 ($240) for one with loads of extra's.... For me condition is everything, so if you're like me expect to pay a little bit more.

Of course you will need to pay extra for one of the Limited Edition consoles (I'm gonna post pic of some of mine later) but in my opinion if your a collector it's worth it with a higher possibility of an upper IPS on certain models (such as Hyrule, Fire Emblem Fates)
