My Wii U had died on me awhile back, and I'm taking it apart to salvage stuff (and delid the APU) but I wanna use the fan for a little mosfet cooler for one of my side projects, and I only know that one pin is 5v, but I can't get any layout to a 2 wire USB power only to work, do I need a USB with one data cable or what, please help!

Not sure what's the question here. Do you need a USB pinout? here is one:

Or do you know nothing about electronics and need to be spoon feeded? If so: The Fan has 3 wires: A red one, a black one and a gray one. The gray one is most likely a PWM signal, so we don't need it. What's left is the red and the black wire.
The red wire should be VCC and the black ground. So connect the red wire to USB VCC and the black one to USB Ground (see the pinout above).
Please note that I'm guessing here: Normally red and black are VCC and ground but not everyone follows this sheme. You would need to measure the pins inside the Wii U to confirm.

Or do you want to control the fan through USB ? In that case you would need some USB fan controller.

No, I am a little newer to USB power etc. but I want to power the fan with a USB power. I don' wanna control it VIA usb, I'm fine with it 100% all the time, but I've tried using a ground and VCC USB power cord on the red and black. but it never powers the 5v of the fan, is it not working due to the fact that it's after market. I've tried every config I can with the 3 pins and I can't get it to work.

This may be stupid BUT dose the Wii still turn on? you could be able to boot it up in recovery mode and restore a NAND
Nope, I've tried everything, I think the APU died. I got the right voltages everywhere, it just never would turn on, so I'm pretty sure the APU overheated or something at one point and fried the Dye

Doesn't turn on as it just flashes an led or goes blue but nothing happens?
Nothing, LEDs don't turn on, nor does the die even warm up, the right voltage goes into it etc. just nothing happens, all the voltages are right, so like I said I think the die fried itself sadly

I tried making chocolate lava cakes the other day in cupcake pan, what a mess, my lava exploded out of the cakes everywhere while baking, was still ok tho, just no lava inside.

We had our grandkids over yesterday and I got a small above ground swimming pool I filled for them to play in. Well today I woke to find 3 ducks swimming around in it. Don't mind really but they are annoyingly loud, quack quack. Gotta drain it today. Guess what were having for dinner, lol.

I used butter instead of vegetable oil, and think that's why they squirted out during baking, who knows

plus if you're making brownies or lava cakes for people with dairy allergies, you should use oil instead of butter anyway
