Hacking Final Fantasy III not working anymore

Hi!

I have patched FFIII before (as soon as it got released, I can't remember the patching engine) and it works properly with my SCLite.

However, when trying to patch with the current (tried .63 and .64 versions) software, the game locks on the opening credits. Anyone had different results?

BTW cheats were enabled.

Disable cheats till you make yor first save or get into the game properly.

I meant that the cheats were enabled at the time of the patching. Neither US or EU roms worked. What is the alternate region rom?
