Hi all,

I have preordered FH 5 some weeks ago and was very hyped for this game.
But now I rather like to cancel my preorder (which is not possible anymore, since it has already been shipped) because of NO ALFA ROMEO, FIAT & LANCIA being in the game.
I can´t express how sad I am about this and this sadness will turn into fury if they add those cars via car pass later (I mean the game costs 69€ (standard edition!) and then the customer has to pay again to get the cars he wants?!). Not sure about that at the moment though and if they add them later free of charge this would be okay for me, but currently I am not glad about this at all.

Sorry if this seems to be a bit close minded, but who needs SUVs, Buggys and Trucks in a racing game where the most iconic racing/rally cars are missing??

I did see that noted in some reviews/previews of the game.
That said I have never really got why people care much for playing as real sportsball players, using real guns, using real cars in games, real locations... inspired by tends to make for far more fun.

Equally are Alfas, Fiat and Lancia the most iconic racing cars? They loom larger than some in some smaller fields but most iconic is a stretch from where I sit, even if we ignore Americans it is still a stretch (casual scan of wins in most popular/well known car motorsports, F1, Le Mans, World Rally Championships, that are not American says if any of those had a heyday it was 30+ years ago and most people there care more about drivers than they do constructors).

It's not a rally game so it seems a bit odd to have this particular gripe. Maybe get WRC 10 instead?
To be fair the previous games and their offroad mechanics have been pretty top notch, such that it was reasonably a substitute for a more dedicated offroad 4 wheel* simulation** game (which have been largely third rate since... Colin McRae died really if not before).

*there have been sort of interesting motocross games in the years since, though MX vs ATV is a shadow of its former self and nothing particularly rose to fill the gap.

**in the (usually much) more arcadey world you have a tiny bit more, but nothing that is likely to have made a dent outside it.

In that case, may I recommend the 1984 Peugeot 205 Turbo 16.. or maybe one of the 1980's Ford Escort or Fiesta. There's always the Impreza too.

I see your points, but I still can´t cope with the situation that Hot Wheels and Formula Drift cars are in there and Alfa Montreal, Alfa 155 V6, Alfa 4C, Fiat 124 Abarth Spider, Fiat 131 Abarth, Fiat 850 TC, Lancia Delta Integrale, Lancia Delta S4, Lancia Beta, Lancia Montecarlo, Lancia Fulvia, Lancia 037 are missing... They have been (at least some of them) have been in racing games since 30 years.

The worst is when its a dry poop, then you spend 20 minutes and ha!f a roll of TP wiping. Its like wiping TP over a magic marker, just won't stop showing.
