The makers of Pokemon have been pumping out advertisements to build a new team for the development of a new console game described as a, "Globally popular RPG."

Reported by Siliconera (and corroborated by our own translation), an advert for a 3D CG designer calls for someone to work on "characters, monsters and items" for "a title that everyone knows".

The advert specifically says that this is a console title. while a second job listing (for a character model creator) specifies someone with experience of creating models up to "Wii U / PS Vita-level".

The Pokemon company has already said it would be making games for the New Nintendo Switch, and many speculate their first game could be coming by the end of this year.

The third entry for Sun and Moon exclusively on Switch perhaps? Or something different entirely?

The year just got more interesting for Switch owners.

Let's not forget that Gamefreak has been behind a few other great titles. Tembo the Badass Elephant, Drill Dozer, and HarmoKnight. That said...

I'd love to see a sequel or game in the same vein as Pokemon XD.

Pokemon Diamond and Pearl remake, perhaps? RSE was when Pokemon really died in popularity. What was once an explosive geiser of viral marketing, became calm, albeit well-populated, waters. With every generation of Pokemon, they make less and less money. (XY made less than Sun Moon) All the 90s kids were growing up and that phase of people disliking Pokemon because it was "uncool" became a thing. Is that still a thing?

I think DP and BW/B2W2 deserve a remake because the DS graphics are complete garbage. Not because they were popular, only amongst gamers really, but to give them that second chance while the Switch is hot.

They just starting dev...so don't expect until late 2018, so high chances we'll get a Sun and Moon HD port sequal for Switch this year.
