Feedback Got banned today. Any benefit of keeping on using separate emunand?

As the title say. I got banned today when my isp screwd me over by bypassing 90dns. I haven't used my switch for the past 4 months. Not sure if using only a homebrew can get you banned. Anyway, got my switch up and running preparing to update it throught daybreak when I noticed the System update is checking for updates and is not blocked. Shut it down immediately and started searching. Found out that some isps can bypass 90dns. I thought I might be safe as I didn't play a backup or something. Today I cannot connect on my legit sysnand. Live and learnd.

Tl;dr: any benefit of staying on using emunand? Or should I just switch to using cfw sysnand?

The only benefits for you now is brick protection (the main reason to have an emunand/emummc)

Make sense. Better have it in case I mess up emunand while updating atmosphere/firmware or doing other stuff.

personally I like using sysnand, better loading times and more space on sd card. but to each their own.
