And if so, could someone tell me how to set it up? I really want to play nethack on my 3DS and this seems like the closest option to it, but I'm not sure on how to do it with TWLoader. Should I just put the NDS file in the sdmc://roms/nds folder, or are there other steps I need to do?

Yes, put the .nds file in "sd:/roms/nds/".

    @Xdqwerty there is health behaviour you can add to your character, then to use a health bar is lil more complicated, google n watch a few tutorial video on it, be too hard to explain here.

    I know you have to create a health and health max variable. Then there is a calculation you use in code to subtract width size of the health bar. Google few vids.
