The Chosen is a Christian free On Demand series that is being produced by Dallas Jenkins, the son of Jerry Jenkins (co-author of the Left Behind series of books). It is a dramatic reimagining of the Bible, and while backstories and suggested details have been added (thus being partly fictionalized), most of it is based on careful research and accurate depictions of these people - including Jesus himself!
