Hardware help on gba cheat and m3 real

hi, i just want to ask where to put the gba cheats on an m3 real? becasue i tried putting the "GBA_CHEAT_ENG" folder on the system folder and it didnt work i also put it on the root directory and the cheats still didnt work. it didnt even show up on the screen. can someone pls teach me on how to make it work? tnx alot.

put the cheat file in the root directory

Also... DON'T PUT THE FULL FOLDER ON IT.
If you do, the M3 will crash from the sheer volume of codes. I copied the ones I have the game for and made a folder in the SYSTEM menu.
