Gaming Help with M3 GBA Expansion Pack

Hi, I just got an M3Real Bundle, and so far it works great, except two things:

1) It refuses to save for FirePro 1 and 2. When I try saving it just says "Save Error"

2) Cheats can't be activated for Mother 3 (English patch)

Can someone help me out? Thanks in advance

1. not all GBA games save if you are using M3 Sakura firmware so just use the M3 Real firmware for games that dont save

Also a suggestion, just use the M3 firmware for all new games, nothing sucks more than playing a game for an hour plus, just to realize it wont save >_>.
