Hi guys,

I seem to have a problem with the rest mode (it will not turn back on) when using 4.55 PS4 HEN VTX (XVortex) on the web addresses. If I use an old hen (Non VTX) via local (ps4-exploit-host-win-v0.4.0.1), that Hen works fine. Can anyone shine any light on this?

Thank you,
Shaun.

Yes, It's a known issue.

It has to do with userland V1 (11kb) vs V2 (8kb aka qwertys rewrite) and using correct HEN payload that follows it.

Best combo to date is: userland V1 with holygrail payload.

This has been reported to survive rest mode just fine.

Thank you very much for the reply, KiiWii. It's much appreciated.

With FW 4.05 after launching HEN from cold start the console won't switch to rest mode, but it will work if HEN is launched after resuming from rest mode. Don't know if it's the same on FW 4.55, maybe try and report back.

I'm pretty sure XVortex has analyzed m0rph3us1987's HEN as IIRC he commented that it's more complex than VVildcard implementation, so or it uses a different way to hook to system functions or probably the data is allocated in a different RAM region.
