So I saw this being made a while ago:

And I was like oh okay, they roped Mel Brooks into it and everything, could be not bad. I mean there's no Jews in Space or Hitler on Ice but could be interesting.

But then the trailer for the first episode dropped and... um.

It has all the subtlety and wit of a College Humor video?
While superficially it does resemble the humor of the original, I'm just not feeling it? Is it a case of "Seinfeld is unfunny" maybe? I've seen these jokes before?
Production values are down the toilet too, the first one was a decent budget movie, this first episode looks extremely cheap.

Dunno, expectations are low.

This sequel is apparently 40 years after the original. Jeez, Hollywood really is running out of ideas, creativity, and originality.
