Oh yeah, a Streets of Rage type clone... actually if it could randomly generate shit somehow, that'd be even better... an endless beatemup...

How about a remake of EarthBound or Pokemon Silver/Gold?

I don't see a reason why RPGs would be hard to remake on the DS. The battling system for Pokemon might be a little hard to recreate, but EarthBound's just a regular RPG (

Did I just say that?) Why hasn't anyone try to remake Earthbound?

Maybe there aren't enough hardcore, obsessed, cult-following Earthbound fans.

Why remake an rpg that can be played on the ds already :|

IMO someone needs to make a core physics engine to save new coders a lot of time, making creations like a SSB clone or portal DS a lot easier

GBATemp's Futuristic Adventure, there you can shoot n00bs, fight against "Gimme romz" comments, the subosses are mods and the final stage makes you face a four screens tall 2 screens wide hybrid shaun/Costello and Opium chimera boss.

mthrnite can be on your side as usual. JPH can the the Otacon of the game.
I'll be the Weapon's/pirate specialist.

Hmm athough Pocket Physiks seems to shaping up nicely, still, Incredible Machine would totally rock !

Also a homebrew GTA would be quite funny (GTA III ?) even though if it might be impossible (at least using for homebrewers).

Do I get to quest for a beam sword called the "Rumor Smasher"? Or possibly the "Ban Hammer!!"

If so, then yes, that game needs to be made.

Pokemon Shiny Gold is a hack of FireRed and is awesome. You need a Slot-2 obviously though.

It uses fire red gfx and doesn't have gold remixes, so it sucks. The houses and everything in johto were very different from other regions. From what I remember anyway.

G/S/C NEEDS a DS or GBA remake, an OFFICIAL one. It would sell well too, and be less work for nintendo since they already made it on GBC. I don't see any reason why they wouldn't want to make one, so I have hope that they will.

Because you can't play it on the DS unless you use glitchy emulation or understand japanese.

3. Basic flash player for DS
I know I'm going to be told that there is no way a DS can handle this, even with the RAM slot, that there's no way around it, etc... Fine, but I was trying to save you all from having a huge list of relatively simple little flash games that would be kinda nice to just have a front-end for to load them up and play them. And on top of that, imagine having a 2 gig microsd full of Homestar runner swf files. Yes.

Already made. Ages ago.

Warlords Battlecry.

DukeNukem 3D with Metroid controls.

Starcraft (yes its already coming).

Command and Conquer Red Alert.

Metalslug.

Aquaria (would be perfect with touch screen).
