Has anyone seen or have any information on making a gamecube microphone? I have a few extra sdgeckos lying around and would like to try to make a mic for Mario Party. Any ideas or how-to's would really be appreciated.

Hey,
first of all you will need a serial converter chip, that takes care of the audio data -> exi bus conversion and responds to the init/control/status commands properly.
then you will need a bit of circuit to connect the actual microphone to the chip. and, of course, a firmware for this chip.
