So I've been intensely arguing talking with some people about what Ninty can and can't see. These people proposed the argument that Ninty can see when you clear logs. They said this: "If there was money on a table, and someone took it while you weren't looking, you would notice." Is this true? I have always been under the impression that the errors aren't synced, but rather reported, so if you clear your logs, any not reported logs aren't ever reported and any reported logs are still reported.

Can someone back up either claim? Please provide definitive proof or at least words from a credible source.

If you go to the Switchbrew page in the tweet, it details the changes in firmware 5.0 that track when error logs are cleared so at least for those firmwares, yes Nintendo can tell when you wiped the error reports.
