Alright, so I want to know how do I use RetroArch for 3ds using the .cia version of RetroArch. I have the latest firmware version and I have the latest versions of both Boot9Strap and Luma3DS.
This method isn't working for me. I did everything right but retroarch won't boot. I just installed the .cia file and put the whole retroarch folder on the root of the SDcard.
I'm using the latest nightly build.
Delete: 'sdmc:/retroarch/cores/4do_libretro.cia', and try again.
If it still fails, just install and run a core manually found in: 'sdmc:/retroarch/cores/'
Solved. The build I used from 2020-02-29 wasn't complete, since it lacked cia files for individual cores.
Do I still have to install the retroarch.cia?
It's just a launcher which launches the last loaded core.
It's optional, not required.
