Hacking Homebrew how to backup flash and nand?

I want to flash some themes but some themes can brick your psp since it deals with flashing from what I read. I was wondering how do I back it up incase of a brick and how would i Fix it?

use a pandora battery to back up the nand. to back up the flash0 you can do that with the recovery mode. if you are using a custom firmware..............sudeki300
