You can check it out here: https://savefileconverter.com/#/wii
It also does other formats like GameShark and a couple of other GBA formats, and the Retron 5.
For Wii saves, it first decrypts and parses the 'outer' file, but then it also parses the 'inner' file that some VC platforms like NES/Genesis/Master System/N64 have, making the final output playable straight on an emulator.
There's one or two Windows-only tools that can do this too, but there's quite a few steps involved: https://www.reddit.com/r/WiiHacks/comments/580niv/how_to_convert_vc_saves_for_use_in_emulators/
I tested a bunch of games, but I'm curious if anyone runs into something that doesn't work.
I based the parsing of the 'inner' file off of this code: https://github.com/JanErikGunnar/vcromclaim and I found that I couldn't load the resulting Turbografx-16/PC Engine saves in the emulator I tried. Has anyone had any luck with these files?
