I need a free, easy to use video editing program.

I'm looking for a free, easy to use video editing program, cuz I'm sick of windows movie maker.
The problem with movie maker is, when I record a video of me playing my guitar, and I want to put the original audio in it as a kind of backing track, movie maker desynchronizes it horribly. For example when it's perfectly synchronized at the start of the video, then at the end the video is ahead of the music by like 2 seconds.
So what I need is a free video editing tool that doesn't desynchronize like that, and which is eas to use. Any suggestions?

Thanks for answering, but as I said, I'm looking for a free program. There are lots of paid programs out there that are good, but I just need an basic free program that doesn't desync lke I said.

VirtualDub is a pretty good free one. If used properly you can create somewhat professional videos with it.

For good programs, you need to buy them. There are a lot of vid editing programs, but very few are free. I suggest you might want to use Windows Movie maker, as it comes standard with the Windows xp, vista and 7. Its very easy to use. Need help? Pm me!

As I said in the OP, I'm sick of movie maker, so suggesting it won't help. I'll try out the program prowler suggested though, the other ones didn't work for me so far.
