Since these are the psps that can be hacked then which one should i get?
Tell me which is better compatible for ps1 and psp iso's, which is a easier hack and does NOT require a second psp, which one is safer to hack, which one is better to play (like does feel better in the hand, controls, triggers, etc.) cause i'm gonna by a psp used soon and i want to know what to look for.
Also can give you guys give me good detailed guide that gives me detailed instructions on how to safely hack a psp 1000 or 2000 (depending on your choice)

Thanks In advanced I really appreciate it!

Compared to the 1000, the 2000 is lighter and it feels like there's parts missing, that might turn some people off who have a I-like-to-hold-heavy-things fetish, but the slim's 64 megs of memory really helps out with web browsing and a little homebrew (like the youtube/porn viewer).

A guaranteed hackable 2000 is the best bet.

iirc the web browser still uses the same amount of ram that it does on the phatty psps. (are they ever going to update that piece o shit browser? seriously, the crappy nds opera browser is at least capable of using gmail...)

Use the high memory modified browser, not the standard PSP one.

OP: Compatibility with PSX and PSP games are identical, both require a second PSP to install CFW if they're over FW5.03, both are the same difficulty to install CFW (if they're on the same firmware; either below 5.03 is easy and doesn't require second PSP, either over 5.03 is "harder" because it needs a second PSP), the risk is the same with each, and finally IMO, the Slim is nicer to play. The Phat feels too bulky and cumbersome for my liking, and the buttons seem springier on a Slim to me.

PSX and PS1 are 2 different consoles.

I would say Phat, but that's just me.

They have the same games though.

The whole PSX thing is just so fanboy....yes everyone knows that the PSX was essentially a multimedia version of the PS2; no nobody cares enough not to use PSX as an abbreviation for the Playstation.

If you feel the need to point it out, i can guarantee that everyone else will feel the need to ignore the pedantic observation.

So me pointing out an error makes me a fanboy, OK..... And how is PSX an abbreviation for PS1, maybe for Playstation, but then you could just use PS1 as an abbreviation for Playstation.

If it was a one off 'har de har har' type thing no, but it got old years ago....

People just prefer PSX and PS2 as their abbreviations for the systems.

PSX is a commonly used abbreviation for PlayStation, PS1 is an abbreviation for PSOne, which was a different console, but played the same games (it was a slim line PlayStation). The actual PSX was never released outside Japan AFAIK, and most people now use PSX as an abbreviation for PlayStation. Heck, on the back of my PlayStation memory card, it referred to itself as a "PSX Memory Card".

Also you better hunt down Dark Alex and tell him to correct all his CFW readme's.
