I can provide a better picture if you wantThe picture isn't very good. Depending on what is damaged you will need a new touch panel only or also an LCD.
I've seen the touch panel crack badly without the LCD below getting any damage. Touch is a very cheap spare part.
There are good guides on ifixit.com
Take your time and be careful with the ZIF connectors.

The touch panel is a weak, relatively soft plastic that can break and show ugly cracks. If the LCD is damaged some pixels/lines/areas won't show anything or some rainbow effect.
Look from different angles. Should be easy to spot if the LCD survived.
