It does, using a mobile app. This is a very interesting idea.
It's boring to play games alone.
I think this should be achieved later.
im guessing that is a way parents cant blame nintendo or the game itself if they hear bad words when the kids are playing, the team that manages the app is the one wich will be getting the complains and such so technicaly any dissing isnt blamed on the game itself.Using a separate app is dumb. The switch is more then capable of doing voice... The 3ds did voice just fine in heros of ruin.... Id like to know why Nintendo decided to do it that way.. So they are not responsible for a noob kid hearing me say what rhymes with truck?

Parents getting pissy over something someone else says isn't a valid reason to inconvenience everyone else.im guessing that is a way parents cant blame nintendo or the game itself if they hear bad words when the kids are playing, the team that manages the app is the one wich will be getting the complains and such so technicaly any dissing isnt blamed on the game itself.
It may affect sales though if many parents get mad. But then the online service will be paid so the plan itself should present the option to the payer as to whether chat should be enabled or notParents getting pissy over something someone else says isn't a valid reason to inconvenience everyone else.
Just about every other service has the option of global mute. Not to mention family settings that allow only voice chatting with friends. There's no excuse for this method. It may affect sales though if many parents get mad.
