Immortals Fenyx Rising crashing when trying to parry

If I press Q or attribute it to any other key, or press L+R on the gamepad, the game instantly exits to desktop.
Tried the latest Empress version. Anyone knows how to resolve this issue?

I gave up on this game months ago. Even applying the crackfix and changing the date back, it still just crashes always. Either this game has more checks going on or its really buggy af!
