Homebrew InspectMii - See dozens of your Wii's settings

it's an ntsc wii I live in canada I have the country selection set to usa and wanted to change it back to canada so I can download the cod BO online client.

I never tried to change the region because my wii has boot2v4 so I don't have full brick block support and didn't want to risk it

Just changing the shop code to Canada won't cause a region brick (aka Opera brick). You have a conflicting System Menu and REGION setting.

That shouldn't do anything. I may have gotten a B- in geography, but I do know that Canada and the USA are in the same region. Besides, even if the shop code was Malaysia, it wouldn't cause an opera brick.

The most likely culprit is you installed 4.3E on your Wii.

never tried to install pal system menu because I have an interlaced display

and it was never modified by it's previous user the system has never left canada

I did however use darkcorp cios v1.1 full set on 4.3U

but if I went into MMM and changed the shop code to canada would that set my country back to canada aswell?

1. There is an edit button
2. If you didn't install the wrong System Menu (which could easily happen by accident), then you manually changed something with AnyRegionChanger.
3. Run the apps, upload the logs, then we can figure out what's wrong for sure.

I have gone into the ARC menu in mmm and wiimod to review the settings but never changed anything because I didn't want to screw anything up knowing that I can't reflash my nand with bootmii due to having it as an ios

but I will for sure run your apps and send you the logs i'll send you a pm with them

I get the Exception as well.
The first screen shows me info like version, serial etc. but after that ....' crash'

wii = 4.2 europe

joostin it gives me a dsi exception after settings.txt screen on a 4.3U NTSC on an RVL-001 model

I don't think it did create a log at that point but I didn't bother to check
