Yangon - A big internet attack in Myanmar (former name was Burma) caused a complete shutdown of the internet network in the country. This happened just several days before the elections, which happen every 20 years.

The attack started at the end of October, but got worse in the last couple of days, reports Arbor Networks. The people of Myanmar can vote for a new government this sunday. This is the first election in the country since 1990.

The way the internet attack was carried out, was by sending masses of data to a couple of targets, which couldn't handle it. Computers all over the world were used for this, mostly from normal consumers who have no idea their computer was used for a internet attack.

Myanmar is connected to the world wide web through a network cables and sattelites, who can handle 45megabits of data per second. At the peek of the attack, the network recieved 10 to 15 gigabits of data per second, 100 times more then the internet in Myanmar can handle.

I wonder who's behind this...

Well, Burma has been under a military dictatorship for a while, and the nation suffers from severe corruption and political turmoil. The attack could've been one of a goal to get against the nation's government.

Either that or its 4chan.

But yea, I have frogger arcade cabinet that I gutted and put a Pi4 then Pi5 into, but it never gets played much anymore, should sell it. Even when the kids come over, they don't want to play on it, just the xbox. TMNT and Simpson's arcade is still so fun on it, esp w 2 players.
