Apple iPod Touch Help......I need a alternative....

Okay, so I'm running Ubuntu, and I want to get a alternative to Cyder, or some application that will allow me to download Cyndia apps, without Wifi. (My wireless router isn't here yet.) iTunes doesn't like Ubuntu, and Cyder requires iTunes to be installed...Does anyone have a alternative?
