Is GDEmu dated?

I've had my old Dreamcast in storage forever but I'm curious if theirs any new methods for Dreamcast to SD card. Gdemu is floating around the net for like $100 totally not worth it for me to go out and buy. So maybe cheaper options are out now.

I've bought a gdemu from AliExpress, it works great for the games I'm playing. It's a lot cheaper than the original but cannot ben updated.

You have usb gdrom and mode,also a hdd mod gd-ide.
I have mode for dreamcast,and i love it,and just installed dcdigital v2.

100$ is acutal for a fake one a good price.. and yes it does the same then the original except you cant use updates. but updates are really area.. you can also use a terraonion mode .. its more expensive, no clones but much nices ui and works in the same way with thte Satun.

To my understanding, fakes go for atleast around $80 on Aliexpress etc. So yeah, unless it's half that or something, just get the real thing.

The only thing going for the fakes at this point is availability, apparently the maker has had trouble getting the parts though, they're opening orders in January 2023 but don't specify if it's for GDEMU:

Sorry, I didn't know they were getting this expensive on AliExpress. I've bought mine for 40 Euro's a few years ago.
