Hacking Is Loading Lakka OS payload safe?

Hello, so I would like to play Gamecube/Wii games on my Switch via Lakka. However, I've never dealt with any OS payloads on my Switch before. So I'm asking, will I be able to inject the payload for Lakka on my Switch temporarly, and revert back to atmosphere by injecting another payload? I just don't want to end up with a switch with just Lakka, so I'm asking just in case.

Also, if there's any better method of playing Gamecube/Wii games through Homebrew/CFW then I would like to know.

Don't expect good gc/wii emulation... Switch is not powerful enough for that. But nobody stops you from trying. As for your main question, of course you can revert back to atmos whenever you want after using lakka or any other OS on your switch. But with lakka atm you can not straight up launch a payload, you can only reboot to RCM from within and then inject any payload with pc or anything else afterwards.

Thanks for the response, I hoping that GC/Wii emulation would improve after seeing people work on it back in 2018. However, like you said why not try anyways?
