No, 8.0.0 and above will require Sept to boot from RCM, this requires the signed Atmosphere files on SD, Hekate can not integrate it without private tsec hacks, thus you will need both a SD card, and the required files to boot.

Use Kosmos and launch the Stock option from Hekate. It's almost pure stock, except fuses aren't burnt. It's highly unlikely running this stock option will result in a ban.

How can you use Kosmos without an sdcard?

I don't know why the OP doesn't have an sdcard, but they are quite specific that any solution needs to work without an sdcard.

AFAIK atmosphere has always prevented fuses being burned. You can't skip that without some patches and that requires exploiting the bootchain, which for 8.0.1 requires an sdcard for the sept files.

Maybe, but he put it in red. So unless you find out why he thinks he can't use an sdcard, then you have to assume there is a reason that can't be hand waved around.

My guess is the sdcard slot is broken, although it's possible he's just worried about leaving his sdcard full of piracy plugged in.

You're right. But, if the SD slot is broken, I don't imagine there's much of a reason to preserve the fuse count.

Unless he intends to get it fixed, but in the mean time wanted to go online. Trying to guess is kinda pointless, we can come up with many scenarios that may or may not be right.

Completely unrelated and necroed, but are you using emunand and sysnand setups? Or just launching stock through hekate with a single sd card
