I was just wondering because I really want to jailbreak my ps3 super slim, but i dont want to brick it. any help would be greatly appreciated

That URL already looks suspicious as hell. Just saying. They're so blunt that it's downright idiotic to trust them.

Also you have to use Cobra ODE if you want to play backups on your Super Slim. CFW is for older Slims and FATs that had OFW 3.55 at some point.

The thing is $60 USD though if you're willing to shell out that much for it. Still cheaper than buying 2 new PS3 games though.

Hmm. I see no mention of it on ps3hax or ps3news so there was some risk from trusting some obscure site.

That's because you were correct. The post above yours is just a shill account. That site has been around for ages. All that's on the site is a password protected zip file with a text file asking you to complete surveys and numerous Ad.fly links.

There is no hack available for the super slim. You need a console that was at one point or time on firmware 3.55 or lower to downgrade it. Then and only then can a custom firmware be installed. The super slim wasn't produced until firmware 4.xx came preloaded on the system
