lol i hate these too, vid2mp3, you get like 10 download buttons, the smallest looking download icon is actually the real one lol.

If you're using FireFox use AdblockPlus, if you're using Chrome or Safari use ChromeAdBlock (or SafariAdBlock), if you're using Internet Explorer, why?

Also, MultiUpload.com ,it uploads to several sites (megaupload, rapidshare, etc), and also stuff uploaded there has a (free) direct download with no waiting time.

there's adblockplus for chrome too (i happen to be using it right now)

and this reminds me when someone was having trouble setting up his flashcart because he was pressing the download button in the ad

Adblock Plus Pros:
1. It blocks ads
2. It blocks popup ads
3. You can disable it wherever and whenever you want

Adblock Plus Cons:
1. Some websites require Adblock Plus to be disabled (don't worry, those websites suck and you can find alternatives 99% of the time) before you can view them
2. It doesn't always block those annoying things that come up that say "Here, take a survey and you can view the site."
3. According to a friend, some online schools are blocked by Adblock Plus and require the thing to be disabled.

I use AdBlock, so I forgot these ads even exist, except for when I'm using my father's computer. In that case, just hold your mouse over the "download" button before clicking and read what URL it takes you to, it's usually pretty obvious if it's fake or not from that.

i don't use adblock since some sites i go to are funded by ads. or so they say, but still. it doesn't annoy me much.
