'Kentucky Route Zero: TV Edition' is launching on PS5 and Xbox Series S|X next week

First released in 2013 and completing its final act in 2020, developer Cardboard Computer's Kentucky Route Zero: TV Edition is launching on current-gen systems as a native version. It will be available as soon as next week and published by Annapurna Interactive.

KENTUCKY ROUTE ZERO: TV EDITION is a magical realist adventure game in five acts, featuring a haunting electronic score, and a suite of hymns and bluegrass standards recorded by The Bedquilt Ramblers. Rendered in a striking visual style that draws as much from theater, film, and experimental electronic art as it does from the history of videogames, this is a story of unpayable debts, abandoned futures, and the human drive to find community.

As the game is already available on Nintendo Switch, PS4, and Xbox One, the publisher will also offer an upgrade option for owners of the game on PS4 or Xbox One. The native PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of Kentucky Route Zero: TV Edition launches on August 17.

    Walmart is an 60 mile round trip for me, and yes, I still spend less even after the gas cost. :) I dont go there just for milk. I do 2 big hauls a month, fill the cart up.
