This is a level editor for DS game Kirby Super Star Ultra, still in development.

• Fix Some Bugs.
• Map rendering performence enhancement.
• Add: export and import map.
• Add images for items.
• Fix some items name.
• Add: moving item by dragging in the map view.
• Script editor: correct "timer" script to "misc" and "special door".

How to use:
run the editor (MApRX_Qt.exe), click [File]-[Extract map from ROM], select an KSSU ROM (of any version, hopefully), and choose where to save the file containing the level data. Now you can begin editing levels on this file (this file is like a patch).
After editing, click [File]-[Make ROM], choose a KSSU ROM file (please backup your ROM before, because we never know), and hit "Make ROM!", then the ROM is patched with levels you edited.

Some common events, for example mid-bosses-related events (as "items" with "scripts"), can be edited. But the editor is not so good at this point. It will get improved in later version.
But basically the story plots are not editable.

Huh, what a coincidence. I was just thinking about Kirby Super Star the other day and whether or not if it had a level editor.

This looks nice so far. Have you tried/thought about uploading it to RHDN? I think more people would notice it that way.

Is it possible to make working doors? Whenever I set the script to go into another room it ends up freezing the game when trying to enter that room.

Along with that, is it possible to change the background and/or tileset of the different rooms?

We can't do that. No ROM posting. Maybe we can post Rom-Hacks but idk.

You could always post patch files. Just require the other person to have the base game and patch it themselves

good idea. my windows computer has the base gasme,but i am typing on the mac.

even with an application that runs windows files, this doesn't work properly on mac. it can still open and it can still extract maps, but when you try to open a map, the whole thing is still blank.
