Hacking Laptop SSD files hidden from my Desktop

Laptop is dead. I remove the ssd, mount it and plug it into my desktop. Only the folders are visible. Can I get a link to a guide or do I really have to pay someone to do this for me?

yeah, your drive might be encrypted with bit locker. you can get into the drive with the bit locker key, which you can get from microsoft's website. make sure you copy and paste the key before deleting it as there's no way to get it again unless you format it.
