soooooo good news! I have SNES9x GX working with my TTX controller. Pretty psyched as this is the first time I've got the dpad to work correctly. Not exactly a programming pro so the mod is kind of a hack job. It will work with TTX controllers but I would imagine other controllers will not work now. Going to compile the other emulators and then I'll upload them.
Can you please upload the file or send it to me somehow???

ive tryed for 3 days to get it to work with TTX controller cant make it work!

Hi, i'm finally taking my time to upload USB loader GX 1263 with 3rd party usb support again, sorry for the delay... real life is a b*%?h.

Thank you SO much! My third party classic controller now appears to be working perfectly!

Well, I was wrong when I said the controller now works perfectly. Your build does appear to prevent the crashing associated with a third party classic controller pro, but also nukes the ability to navigate USB Loader GX with even an official classic controller pro. I'm able to use the d-pad and other buttons, but can't move the cursor around with the left stick.

It's a bit of a trade-off I guess, but it would be nice to be able to use the cursor within GX.

tested newest plugins and my results.
My combination is Wiimote(motion plus inside) + 3rd party classic controller
USBLoaderGX - no crash, but no movement with left analog. That's much better than crash
WiiSXR - works great
WiiMednafen - not working for me

Is there anyone willing to recompile some Homebrew/Emulators With Fix94's WiiU Gamepad Patch?
This will allow WiiU owners to Control Wii Homebrew with The WiiU GAMEPAD!! :yayu::yayu::yayu::yayu:

This is the patch that needs to be added to existing Wii Homebrew/Emulators :)
https://github.com/FIX94/libwiidrc

This is only usable with a sepcial patched fw.img and homebrew injected into a wiiu vc title, details on the patches are below.
The usage is quite simple, call WiiDRC_Init on boot and after that call WiiDRC_ScanPads every time you update your pad inputs.
See the "demo" folder for an example on how to use it in a bit more detail.
Both compiled Library and Demo can be grabbed from the Releases tab.

Looking for some people with:
- 3rd party Wii Classic Controller.
- 3rd party Wii Classic Controller Pro.
- Original Wii Classic Controller Pro.
- NES Classic Controller.
- SNES Classic Controller.
- 3rd party Wii U Pro Classic Controller.
- 3rd party Wiimote.
- 3rd party Wii Motion Plus attachment. (does this exist?)
- Original Wii Motion Plus attachment.
- Original Wii Remote Plus
- Nyko Wand+, PDP controllers, etc.

To test a special Snes9x GX build that i will post here, to check compatibility with the aforementioned controllers, and confirm that everything works fine. I would like the feedback to add every controller working to a new organized PDF manual plus a new update that i am working on.

Does anyone know if the latest version of snes9xgx (v 4.3.7) is compatible with the Datel Retro Wireless Controller without editing the libogc?

I didn't knew about that one, but it would be useful too! I'll be tagging you in some hours for the build.

In the event that snes9xgx is not already compatible with my Datel controller that is on its way in the mail now, I can help you test your build out with it (which should count as a 3rd party Wii Classic Controller). I also have a Original Wii Classic Controller Pro.

Yeah, that would be cool. Just want to be as sure as possible about the controllers that can be used, comparing it against the latest official release.

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM

  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm

  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds

It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space
