Hacking little king's story (yet another issue with this game)

Hello guys. Well, i have been searching a way to run this problematic game on my softmoded wii.

-I have found some issues about this game, and want to know better about:

1. My console is ntsc. The game must be ntsc too?
-I have been trying run trough patch video, changing ios in usbloaderGX, but nothing)
2. Can i run it (wbfs file) trough the newers usbloaders? (gx, cfg or wiiflow)(prefer gx, personally)
-I have seen people saying that must have older versions/revisions in some topics, its true?
3. Tv region, emunand, cable (composite, component), config of sysmenu[on real nand] has anything to do with running the game?

If someone can help, i would appreciate. If I need to post some more information about my wii, please say it.

Wii NTSC, 4.3u softmodded via modmii about a month ago, so all config(usb loaders, d2x, cios, mios) is probably up to date. Drive cannot read backup discs.

I've had no problem playing PAL games on a NTSC Wii with a composite cable as long as you use the "Force NTSC" option in the USBLoaderGX settings.

I don't have my Wii set up right now, but Cyan should be able to help you

Thank you TyBlood13, but I tried and didnt work. I'm using component cable in a hdtv (so my wii setting are set to "hdtv"), didnt know for sure if this has anything do do with the issue. I dont want to arrange a ntsc version of the game, only if are the only way. Every other game works fine, except this one.

what's happening when you tell it's not working?
- Not launching at all
- Launching but freeze
- Launching but no video (you heard sound and can move the controllers, press start, etc.)

Are you sure the ISO is a clean dump?

If it's anything to do with the video:
- (global) Settings > Loader Settings > Video mode : Disc default (or game default).
- Individual game settings > reset settings

if it doesn't work, you can try to force NTSC (but you said you already tried).
- Individual game settings > Game Settings > Video mode : FORCE NTSC 480p

If it still black screen (no video signal, or greenscreen?)
- Individual game settings > Game Settings > Video mode : FORCE NTSC 480p
- Individual game settings > Game Settings > Dol video patch : All

If this setting doesn't help, it's probably not a video mode issue.
Maybe the ISO is bad, or you enabled some incompatible settings (debug wait?)

AND ANOTHER QUESTION: IOS FOR THIS GAME IS STANDARD (249)?

249 is not an IOS, but a slot.
The "cIOS" used when you select 249 depends on what you installed in this slot.

I suppose it's : d2x, v8 or v10, base56 ?
if it's older than v8, then you should update.
if it's another base, you should try another slot, one with either base 56 or 57.

I have tried every kind of "patch video" features on usb loaders, changing region and all the stuff alike.
Also, tried to run the game using diferent slots (with cios with base 56 or 57). The slots are:
ios222: base38 hermes v4 (r4)
ios223: base75 hermes v4 (r4)
ios224: base 57 hermesrodries v6 (r65535)
ios249: base 56 d2x v8final(r21008)
ios250: base 57 d2x v8final(r21008)
(Used CFG usbloader to get these info about installed cios.)

Maybe the iso was realy bad dumped. I will make another ISO and soon I will post here the results.

ThankYou all for your time! I have dumped a NTSC version's ISO, and it worked very well. I couldnt make the PAL game work. Please close the thread.

Hi there ppl!
I saw that almmiron had no issues using its NTSC version. Well, I tried both, a PAL from a friend and my NTSC version, neither works.

Well, focusing on my NTSC version:
I tried:
- Game Disc Video Mode, Force NTSC, IOS 249 with cIOS 56 and IOS250/57 (both on d2x-v10-beta53-alt-vWii).
- Removed Ocarina and any patch mode and nothing...

The game opening white screen with the remote simply cant be skiped pressing buttons and then, the screen turns black after sometime and 'nothing else matters' after that.

I've the last GX Loader (v3.0 r1260), by the way.

@Tarantus - You need to post version numbers for your cIOS and loader. Are you sure your disc image is a valid rip?

@GreyWolf - got it, edited my first comment to let you guys know the full versions. About my RIP, yeah its valid, I could use the PAL, from my friend, and even the NTSC I got via Dolphin, but not on my vWii.

Also, since my friend lives in another state right now, I cant easily reach its PAL to test, so I'm sticking with my NTSC.
