Hey guys, I made a dock I wanted to use for the Nintendo 3DS and Nintedo Switch. What do you guys think?
You can visit my blog for more information on this: http://nickyisahardplayer.blogspot.com/2017/05/nintendo-switch-dock-in-wood.html

It looks simple to do: it is neat :)
However, it's not very.... fancy, you should paint it or custom it more

I was thinking of carving on it too. You are right, it has a lot of potential, I was just excited a bit to post it. But I also like the simple wood grain and finish it with oil.

This looks very cool and very simple to make. I might make one as well as I'm still in need of a dock for my 3DS.

Yes, please show me what you made for your 3ds dock. :D This is quite simple to make, no fuss and is effective.

Very nice, I love simple stuff like this! Don't forget the holes for the Switch intakes if you decide to go that way.

i like the natural wooden look, not too plastic. You could use an hot iron to burn something on it.

Yes, I noticed that. Will have to borrow my friend's switch for that. I plan to sell a bunch of them eventually as I enjoyed making them.

Same here, now that I've sanded and oiled it, the grain can really be seen clearly. I like the sheen too. I will post a few more tweaks when I get the time soon.

I love it, :) you should sell them online.
Thanks!
Yeah, I've been wanting to make a channel for a while now and I thought these would be my merch! Or giveaways. A few of my friends already ordered, they even asked me to carve something on it to further personalize their dock. I haven't uploaded the one where I carved Gammoth from Monster Hunter on it.

Nice, I now want one of these, you can also put a wireless charger mod, so when I put my 3DS there I can charge it
