Marble Saga: Kororinpa crashes on USB Loader GX but runs on WiiFlow Lite

When I try to run Marble Saga: Kororinpa from SD card on USB Loader GX 3.0 Rev 1281, it crashes to a black screen but when I run it from WiiFlow Lite 5.5.4, it works. My SysCheck is below:

All games in USB Loader GX are set to use the global settings and all the others I've tried work fine. In the global loader settings, Loaders IOS is set to 249 and Games IOS set to Auto but the crash also occurs if I change Loaders IOS to 250. Any ideas why this is happening?

In the usb loader GX settings (disk settings), have you selected games on SD?

PAL or NTSC version of the game?

SD Card Mode in Hard Drive Settings is on, NTSC version of the game.

Yes the PAL version works through USB Loader GX. I'd prefer to use the NTSC version via the same launcher I use for all my other games - is there a known incompatibility with Marble Saga: Kororinpa and USB Loader GX?
