Beyond this I don't think unpatched has any unique selling points beyond cheapness & ease of modding, so once a Mariko is modded, it's a better option.

I would think the solve for V2 would solve for V3 as well because the issue was the boot methodology. V2 and V3 are pretty similar in that regard. Total conjecture on my part though. It’s also possible team Switchroot will need to crowdfund an OLED…for testing purposes. ;-)

It's exactly the same SoC.
Dunno where "v3" came from.

Still I guess main issue in OLED case is OLED display itself since it's working on different principle than LCD displays.

Yes, my unpatched switch is there so i don't have to tamper with either my OLED Switch, my Switch lite or my Mariko Switch. Mainly cos it's still the easiest one to hack.

Yes all Mariko models will be supported when everything is finished.

I was wrong and mixing SOC names and Switch models. There’s only Erista and Mariko for SOC

Those are the codenames in the firmware for the devices. Red box and oled are the same soc with better screen, stand and speakers

I have modded oled works great
