Rufus is a good option to create a bootable USB.Is it possible to create only-UEFI bootable USB?
Yes, you need to use MediCat USB for BIOS booting, and the WinPE for UEFI booting. Changelog coming in the next few minutes. Sorry for any confusion.Great news !
Could you update the changelog please ? Thanks
Another question, If I understand well your picture with different version.
Now there is two medicat, one for UEFI, one for Legacy Bios.
If we want to use both, we need to create two USB Key, right ?
Or I am miss something ?
in anycase, as usual, good job and many thanks for all.
It's to be ironic, since "The Grid" is a digital world. Why this version it's called Analog Edition ? I'm just curious and I know that last time it was because of the 36th anniversary of commodo.
Is it possible to create only-UEFI bootable USB? I have a laptop which can't enable CSM/Legacy boot, so it would be great to have this option.
UEFI compatibility, for starters.Wow, now I am going to be confused what to use: mini win or just the menu...what do you recommend and what are the possible advantages of miniWin besides of better UI?
It's in the hashes.txt in the links.What is their MD5 or SHA1?
The Windows 10 setup in Rufus should be fine using the default settings. And I'm currently working on a UEFI-only version of MediCat, so this legacy booting version can finally die off. This should be the last Syslinux release, if all goes well with my new version. So far, so good.Hi,
I've tried to uncompress my Windows 10 ISO files in the Windows 10 folder to try installer.
Computer boot fine on the installer, but he asks for drivers before to load disk. "A media driver your computer needs is missing, blablabla..."
If I try same ISO mounted on an USB stick with rufus, no issue.
If you've ideas...

Other little question.
Now that we must created two media (one for BIOS, one for UEFI)
The process of Rufus installation is the same for both or you need to change soemthing ?
I mean Partition MBR / Target BIOS (or UEFI-CSM) / File System NTFS
The new one I'm working on has almost everything the old one has, with UBCD as an exception because it doesn't support UEFI booting. And one other ISO gave me issues. But has most of everything, and I could even add more if I wanted. It's boot UI will just be GRUB2 and BOOTMGR, but I am making GRUB2 look a bit more nice with a 1920x1080 wallpaper and a medium-sized font. Sadly, BOOTMGR can't be modified to my knowledge.will that include all the software in the current medicat? I'd prefer having one version with mini win 10 and all the tools and options.

will this UEFI only version still have the boot UI? and will it include everything? kinda like a full image? I'd prefer to have everything on the one USB, so i'll probs stick with 18.10 for now.
