most do but unless it says so I would ask the specific sellerHi,
Does anyone know about the Metroid Repro Cardridges from Etsy?
The Original ones have Batteries to save but whats about the Repros?
I hope someone know it!
The problem is that original cartridge are expensive in some Serie and metroid is on of these.I don't know about all the originals as there might have been a later run with FeRAM (no battery).
As for repros we tend not to deal with them around here -- it is out and out paid piracy. From what I have seen though it can vary massively what people are flogging, I would not be surprised to see a battery backed save though.
For the price, it makes more sense to get a flashcartThe problem is that original cartridge are expensive in some Serie and metroid is on of these.
The repros works fine.
Battery saves are unusual on gba.
The saves are chip only.
Battery are only used for rtc or cheap repros.

Rtc are Real problems.Fake carts are mostly crap in my experience. Either shell out for an Everdrive/EFOmega or only buy real games. Fakes are failure-prone and/or screwed up in often very frustrating ways. Thinking of Pokemon Crystal fakes with no RTC and Emerald fakes with no RTC and borked saves.

I think that people wo buy repros doesnt want to resale it.There is also the matter of resale value. Fake carts haven't got any.
Could have sworn the Ferengi have a rule of acquisition that went something like "Consider resale value before any purchase," but I can't find it. Oh well, The Unwritten Rule always applies.
