Do you have iOS or Android? There's a translation app where you take a pic of the text and it will translate for you. It's actually very easy and effective to use. The translations often give you a pretty good idea at what you need.

I do have an android phone. Also, wow. Phones can do that now? That kinda blows my mind.

Yup. I have it on my iPhone 7. It's literally take a picture of the text, select the area (which is actually really nice in it's function. Thankfully instead of having to select an area, you literally smudge at the text you need translated like you with with a rubber/eraser on MS Paint) and it will instantly translate for you.

It's even got to the point now where you don't even to do that now I've seen more. It will just auto-translate whatever your camera is pointing at.
