Hey everyone,

I just thought I'd make a post in the Homebrew forum about my DS Homebrew app MIDI-Jammer. I first released it early this year, and there's a thread about it in the Homebrew News forum, but since I've been working on it more frequently and releasing updates the last couple of weeks I figured it would be appropriate to startup a thread here.

In any case, you can grab the app here in the downloads section of gbatemp or at my site, A n d r e w B u c h . c o m.

The general purpose of MIDI-Jammer is to create a musical instrument for the DS which allows those who are not proficient musicians to craft musical ideas in a visual medium. Those who are musicians are still able to use the program as a fully functional instrument and have complete control over it, but it will still allow you to think outside-the-box as the program implements music theory and chops for you, allowing you to focus more on the music your crafting than musicianship itself.

The program has controls listed on the top-screen, and comes with documentation explaining the various features and how to use them in the README.txt. In addition to the standalone mode which uses the GBA synth to make music, you have the option to connect over Wifi and send MIDI to your computer from the app.

In any case, I'd appreciate any and all feedback from you guys. You can feel free to post here, or email me at me (at) andrewbuch (dot) com. I hope to hear from some of you!

-Andy
