Minecraft Update to 1.4

And won't be updating soon, have to wait till all the mods I use are updated.

That's the reason why I don't play with mods at the moment. It's too much of a hassle to have to update every mod you play with each time there's an update.

But don't fret- the mod API is on its way.

Still borks up themes... I hate the original Minecraft look.
In fact, all my skins are 32x just to avoid the excessively pixelated look.

Ah yes. I still adore the charm of the original textures. ;p

I haven't seen any insanely hi-res texture packs (haven't particularly looked either).
I typically stick with DOKURPG/GERUDOKU and now I've grabbed an Ocarina of Time theme (that I don't use) and a semi-custom DokuCraft (merged DokuCraft ontop of GERUDOKU) while it's being developed.


Anyone care to recommend an updater?

Also, DokuCraft is Doku's new pack for those who don't know, and it looks horrible IMO.

If anyone is looking for a good hi-res texture pack though, I recommend LB's Photo Realism pack. Much better than Mixcraft, Misa's, and any other HD pack IMO.

Really?

Aside from the overly large torches and non-smooth stone, I like it.
The Wood doors could use some work to look less... fortress-y (and the Iron door to look less submarine-y).

Wolves are quite possibly the best thing ever added. They do indeed behave like pets. Its so awesome.
